British movie THE SCAPEGOAT premieres Thursday on WV PBS
There's a widely known saying that everyone has a twin out there somewhere in the world. But what happens when you actually meet that doppleganger? We're about the find out.
THE SCAPEGOAT, a new British drama, will premiere on Thursday, Oct. 24, at 9 p.m. on WV PBS.
Set in 1952, as England prepares for the Coronation of Queen Elizabeth II, THE SCAPEGOAT is a one-off drama that tells the provocative story of two very different men who have one thing in common — a face. The movie stars a cast of actors who have been seen on WV PBS in many of our other presentations in recent years. Matthew Rhys (ABC's Brothers & Sisters, The Mystery of Edwin Drood), Sheridan Smith (Gavin & Stacey) Andrew Scott (Sherlock) and Eileen Atkins (Doc Martin, Upstairs Downstairs) star in an adaptation of the novel of the same name by Daphne du Maurier (Rebecca, The Birds, Don't Look Now).
THE SCAPEGOAT is part of WV PBS's mission to bring our viewers the best in British-related programming. Thursday nights on WV PBS have been dedicated to the best in mystery programming.
