Lately, many of our viewers, particularly those who are Suddenlink cable customers, are experiencing frequent reception issues with WV PBS. These issues include garbled audio, pictures breaking up and pictures freezing. We sincerely apologize for these irritations.

Filmmaker Shane Salerno’s 10-year investigation culminates in the first work to get beyond The Catcher in the Rye author's impenetrable wall of privacy and seclusion. American Masters: Salinger airs Tuesday, January 21 at 9 p.m. on West Virginia PBS.

West Virginia Legislature

West Virginia Governor Earl Ray Tomblin will be the first guest on this season of The Legislature Today. He will discuss the recent chemical leak.

The episode will be taped live today, and will air this evening at 6:30 on West Virginia PBS. The show airs Weekdays while the the legislature is in session.

Antiques Roadshow Coming to Charleston in August

Antiques Roadshow has just announced their 2014 tour dates, and Charleston, W.Va. will be their last stop!

The live event is scheduled for August 16 at the Charleston Civic Center.

This is a big deal for West Virginia Public Broadcasting and for fans who've been asking for Antiques Roadshow to come to West Virginia for years.
