Ask Me Another
Saturday at 11 a.m.

Ask Me Another is the rambunctious live show from NPR and WNYC that blends brainteasers, pub trivia, comedy and music into an hour of mind-bending fun. Host Ophira Eisenberg invites guests and listeners alike to stretch their noggins, tickle their funny bones and be serenaded by house musician Jonathan Coulton. What you'll hear resembles the casual intimacy of game night at a friend's house: one where scores are forgotten in favor of hilarious gaffes.

Every week on your radio or podcast, you can play along as Ophira poses questions to willing audience members and call-in contestants, Jonathan sings clues to the tune of pop songs and the resident puzzle guru attempts to keep everyone in line. Each week a new celebrity V.I.P. – that's Very Important Puzzler – dazzles from the puzzle hot seat in a custom-built game.

  • Jonathan Coulton performs Beatles songs re-written to be about bugs, and Busy Philipps and Shantira Jackson have to figure out what he's singing about.
  • Cartoonist Keith Knight and his sister Tracy have to guess what comic strip a line of dialogue is from.
  • Not to be confused with Pop Culture Happy Hour. Busy Philipps and Shantira Jackson mash up the names of mixed drinks and celebrities.
  • A few weeks ago, comedian John Early answered trivia questions about the Brady Bunch. So when cartoonist Keith Knight and his sister Tracy requested a Brady Bunch game, the research was already done.
  • RZA discusses his new movie Cut Throat City, then chats about how to compose music for ice cream truck speakers. Then, his reptile knowledge is put to the test with a game called "Is It a Lizard?"
  • Two-time Academy Award winner Hilary Swank discusses her new Netflix show Away. Then, she plays a game based on her love of dogs where she guesses what luxury canine services are real or fake.
  • Andy Richter ( Conan) and Yvette Nicole Brown ( Community) try their hands at identifying song lyrics read by kids who've never heard the songs before.
  • Jo Firestone and Manolo Moreno of the podcast Dr. Gameshow get "the talk" in this true/false game about animal mating habits.
  • Jonathan Coulton sings lyrics about adult sleeping aids, set to classic children's lullabies. Jo Firestone and Manolo Moreno (Dr. Gameshow) have to guess what he's singing about.
  • In this savory word game, Andy Richter ( Conan) and Yvette Nicole Brown ( Community) work together to change one letter in a movie title, turning one of the words into a non-vegetarian entree.
