Insurance Data Analysis Shows Hikes Hitting Rural Areas Hard

Listen

On this West Virginia Morning, the Kaiser Family Foundation published an analysis this week that found Affordable Care Act marketplace premiums are least affordable for middle-income older adults. Also on today’s show, StoryCorps is an effort by National Public Radio to record oral histories. All of their recordings are housed at the American Folklife Center at the Library of Congress in Washington, D.C.  As part of a partnership with West Virginia Public Broadcasting, StoryCorps recorded more than 100 interviews in West Virginia last fall. This morning we hear one of the conversations.

In this excerpt, recorded in Charleston, we’ll hear Tim Albee and Danny McNeeley talking about what it was like to each lose their previous life partners.
