Also today, thousands of people from across the country gathered at Point Pleasant in Mason County this weekend for the annual Mothman Festival.
The event has grown larger and more popular since starting in the early 2000’s. Reporter Emily Allen spoke to a few festival attendees to learn more about that story, and the legend of the Mothman.
