The Legislature Today: House Busy with Bills to Fund Roads, Drug Test Welfare Recipients

Additional funding for the state's highway system is in doubt after removed from a House Committees agenda. 

Delegates also inch closer to a vote the could set up a drug testing process for West Virginians who apply for Temporary Assistance for Needy Families benefits.

The House Judiciary Committee questions a Senator about his proposed Constitutional amendment that would preserve the right to farm and ranch in the state. Many members expressed concerns over the broad language in the amendment.

An update in the law suit filed against Supreme Court Justice Brent Benjamin who is attempting to get state dollars to fund his re-election campaign through the state's public campaign financing program.
