Jane Siers Wright
Jane is the director of grants and underwriting for West Virginia Public Broadcasting. She has over thirty years’ experience in grant writing and direct fundraising in the nonprofit sector. Before coming to public broadcasting, she managed the development department at the Alzheimer’s Association, West Virginia Chapter. She was the director of development for ten years at the West Virginia Humanities Council and also directed fundraising and communications at the Girl Scouts of Black Diamond Council.
Jane is a writer, published in such widely varying publications as the West Virginia Encyclopedia, Horse Illustrated, and the Charleston Gazette-Mail. Her most current work can be found in River Town, a collection of short stories by Appalachian authors, juried into the offerings at Tamarack. She holds a bachelor’s degree in English and Theatre and a master’s degree in English from Marshall University.
