Trump to Visit W.Va. Boy Scout Jamboree
President Trump will visit the National Scout Jamboree in Fayette County, West Virginia on Monday, July 24th.
According to a press release from Boy Scouts of America released Friday evening, President Trump will travel to West Virginia on Monday evening and address approximately 40,000 Scouts, Venturers, Explorers and volunteers participating in the 2017 National Jamboree at the Summit Bechtel Family National Scout Reserve. This event is a private event and is not open to the public.
Planning for the 2017 Boy Scouts of America National Jamboree began almost four years ago, immediately following the first jamboree held at the Summit Bechtel National Reserve.
The reserve is situated on 14,000 acres in Fayette County between Oak Hill and Mt. Hope, next to the New River Gorge National River.
