Capito Brings FCC Leader to State to Discuss Broadband Today

U.S. Sen. Shelley Moore Capito is bringing the Federal Communications Commission leader to West Virginia to discuss rural broadband internet and health care.

Capito’s office says the Republican is hosting FCC Commissioner Mignon Clyburn in Morgantown and Preston County on Monday.

Capito will first host a discussion at West Virginia University’s School of Journalism with Clyburn, professors and students focused on broadband in rural states.

Then Capito and Clyburn will tour Preston Memorial Hospital in Kingwood.
