State Fair to Launch First Mobile App

Evening at the State Fair of West Virginia

The State Fair of West Virginia will launch of its first-ever mobile app.

The new app will allow fairgoers to schedule their day, purchase tickets, and find their favorite locations on an interactive map.

State Fair CEO Kelly Collins says the app will make it easier for fairgoers to purchase tickets. Instead of waiting in line, they will be able to purchase and scan tickets directly from their phones.

The state fair of West Virginia app also includes frequently asked questions, news and State Fair branded photo features. It will be available Monday morning for free in both the App Store and Google Play Store.

The 2016 State Fair theme is “Capture Your Memories”.  The 10-day Fair opens August 12.
