The final stop of the statewide West Virginia Next Generation Standards tour will be Tuesday, September 29 at Shepherd University.

Tuesday’s meeting is the last of eight stops. This tour is designed to give the people of the state a chance to ask questions about the Next Generation Standards. These Standards are part of the Academic Spotlight community evaluation, which was started by State Superintendent Dr. Michael Martirano.

Representatives from the West Virginia Department of Education, the West Virginia Board of Education, and Shepherd University will be in attendance.

The meeting is free and open to the public and will be held at 6:30 pm in the auditorium of Erma Ora Byrd Hall at Shepherd University.
