Manchin / Capito

Two West Virginia localities will share more than $1.1 million in funding for water infrastructure products.

U.S. Sens. Joe Manchin and Shelley Moore Capito announced the Appalachian Regional Commission grants Wednesday.

A waterline extension project that will serve 134 households and two organizations in an isolated part of Clay County will receive $760,000. An additional $386,000 is going to the Gary Wastewater System Inspection and Evaluation project, which will make repairs to improve services for 442 customers in McDowell County.
