Constellium Receives Preliminary OK for State Loan

An aluminum product manufacturer in Jackson County has gotten preliminary approval for a $15 million state loan.

The Charleston Gazette-Mail reports Constellium Rolled Products received preliminary approval from the West Virginia Economic Development Association on Thursday.

Constellium is the largest employer in Jackson County. It plans to use the low-interest loan to install new equipment at its Ravenswood facility.

Once that equipment is installed, the company could employ 18 more people. The plant now employs 1,006 people.
