Natural Gas Contractor Expands in Milton
Natural Gas Contractor Cenergy LLC celebrated an expansion Wednesday with a ribbon cutting ceremony in Milton.
Governor Earl Ray Tomblin and other state officials took part in a ribbon cutting ceremony for the natural gas business based in Milton. Cenergy was founded in 2006 by Milton native Chuck King. In 2014 the company doubled in size and now once again is expanding its operations that will include approximately 170 employees. Governor Tomblin says it’s a great thing for the local economy.
"It’s very exciting, especially a local company that started here locally, to be able to expand 3 times here in the last four or five years, got nearly 180 employees coming from the local area here, buying part of their supplies from businesses near it, so it’s very important," Tomblin said
Cenergy provides the pieces used for equipment engineering and fabrication for the natural gas industry, especially in West Virginia, Ohio and Pennsylvania.
