Winter Storm 2015: Forecast, Power Outages, Road Conditions & More

West Virginia and the surrounding region is bracing for a highly impactful winter storm expected to bring heavy snow accumulation through Wednesday. Parts of West Virginia are expected to receive as much as 15-18 inches, according to the National Weather Service in Charleston.

We will update this post with more information as it comes in.

Power Outages

As of Monday morning at 1:30, 169 Appalachian Power customers are without power, all of which are located in Lincoln County.

First Energy and their subsidiaries are reporting 146 total customer outages across Berkeley, Monongalia, Nicholas, Wirt and Wood counties.  

Road Conditions and Accidents
