Shepherd Board Approves Tuition Hike
In-state students at Shepherd University will pay higher tuition for the 2015-2016 academic year.
But out-of-state student tuition will remain at the current level.
Shepherd's board of governors approved a 3.96 in-state tuition increase for undergraduates last week.
Undergraduate in-state tuition will increase from $3,285 to $3,415 per semester. Out-of-state undergraduate tuition will remain at $8,314 per semester.
Board members also approved a 2.19 percent average increase in room rates, and a 1.97 average increase in meal plans.
