VH1 Save the Music 2014 Fall Tour of West Virginia Schools

The VH1 Save The Music Foundation will go on a tour of West Virginia schools that have received musical instruments from the Foundation for the 2014-2015 school year.

WHERE: Crum Middle School, Williamson Middle School, Chapmanville Middle School, Beckley Park Middle School, Mountain View Middle School, Bruceton School, Ritchie County Middle School, Calhoun County Middle School
WHEN: THURSDAY October 23, 2014 - 8:00 a.m. Crum Middle School, 9:15 a.m. Williamson Middle School, 10:45 a.m. Chapmanville Middle School, 1:00 p.m. Beckley Park Middle School, 2:45 p.m. Mountain View Middle School; FRIDAY October 24, 2014 – 8:00 a.m. Bruceton School, 10:30 a.m. Ritchie County Middle School, 1:00 p.m. Calhoun County Middle School
WHY: The VH1 Save The Music Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to restoring instrumental music education programs in America’s public schools and raising awareness about the importance of music as part of each child’s complete education. With matching monetary donors of $15,000, each school is awarded $30,000 in musical instruments.

WHO: In attendance will be West Virginia Division of Culture and History Commissioner Randall Reid-Smith and staff as well as Paul Cothran, VH1 Save The Music Foundation Vice President & Executive Director and Chiho Feindler, VH1 Save The Music Foundation Grantee & Compliance Manager.
