This past Thursday afternoon, Casie McGee and Sarah Adkins rushed to the Cabell County Courthouse upon receiving the news that county clerks in West Virginia had been directed to change the marriage license applications to include same-sex couples.
Casie and Sarah were one of three couples involved in a lawsuit by Lambda Legal that challenged the state's ban on same-sex marriage that inevitably helped bring marriage equality to West Virginia.
