4th Annual Oil and Gas Expo Sees More Environmental and Safety Vendors

The 4th annual Oil and Gas expo took place yesterday in Morgantown. Over 2000 attendees and 300 vendors met to discuss trade business.

Vendors were turned away from the expo this year—many are already on the list for next year’s event. Founder Damian Fedek says the attendee turnout surpassed expectations.

Trucking Companies, excavators, law firms, and banks all attended, but Ferek says he’s noticed more E&S companies represented this year.

“As laws and regulations continue to help the state, our companies are adapting,” Ferek said. “They’re seeing the need to provide better E&S or Environmental Services. There’s absolutely more safety concerns and safety regulations so the improvements in the industries are absolutely here on hand you can see just walking around. So it’s exciting to see that the industry is progressing.”

Attendees were clad in everything from suits and ties, to jeans and tattoos. Some companies were set up looking to find employees, Safety operators were looking to talk to truckers and operators, Engineering firms were looking to meet with job sight foremen… and vice versa.
