Donate To WVPB With An IRA Rollover Gift
Let your IRA give a gift to West Virginia Public Broadcasting!

If you’re 70 and 1/2 or older, you can make a contribution to WVPB through your IRA rollover – that brings benefits to you - while sustaining the programming you love.
With a Qualified Charitable Distribution (sometimes called IRA Charitable Rollovers) you can make a gift directly from your IRA, without having those distributions included in your adjusted gross income (AGI).
Advantages to you:
- You can use an often-overlooked asset to make a gift to WVPB.
- You avoid recognizing taxable income on the distribution.
- You can receive a tax benefit regardless of whether you itemize deductions or take the standard deduction on your income tax return.
- The distribution can count toward your required minimum distribution for the year.
Act soon to make a Qualified Charitable Distribution prior to calendar year-end, as some IRA administrators may place a deadline on requesting transfers. To learn more about making a year-end gift to WVPB through your IRA, call Marilyn DiVita at 304-556-4906 or fill out the form below.
