You're Invited to WVPB Open House in Charleston


Have you ever wanted to see inside West Virginia Public Broadcasting's studios? You're invited to "come on in" as we continue our series of Open House days on September 26 at our Charleston studios.

Take a tour of our Charleston station, see how radio is made, watch special live magic shows from "Abracadabra," and meet the people that make West Virginia Public Broadcasting possible.

Join us Saturday, September 26, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. West Virginia Public Broadcasting's WVPB station is located at 600 Capitol Street in Charleston, across the street from Charleston Bread. Free parking is available at the station.

Join us for a day filled with food, drinks and fun (see list of activities below).

  • Meet WVPB personalities and get a behind-the-scenes tour of WVPB's studios.
  • Hang out with the cast and crew of "Abracadabra" at 10:30am and noon for LIVE magic shows.
  • Bring your camera and take a picture with PBS characters
  • Win prizes in our drawings.
  • Get creative with WV Learning Media at the kids crafts table.


WVPB is local news, education, music, and entertainment for West Virginia.
