As of Thursday evening there were still tickets available for this Sunday's Mountain Stage taping in Charleston, WV featuring Jeff Daniels & the Ben Daniels Band, Dawn Landes, Lucy Wainwright Roche, Kevin Gordon and The Handsome Family.

There's still time to get your tickets to be in the audience for this Sunday's Mountain Stage featuring NRBQ, Kat Edmonson, Lindsay Lou, The Matchsellers, and The Wooks . But if you're not in the area, you can now join us from anywhere with an internet connection thanks to VuHaus and the WVPB Video Production department.

The lineup for Sunday's Mountain Stage with Larry Groce is going to be an Americana honors class that embraces our diverse love of music here in Charleston, W.V.  We'll welcome James McMurtry, The Low Anthem, Inara George and John Moreland.

After making 19 appearances as a guest-artist on Mountain Stage with Larry Groce, West Virgina's own country music royalty Kathy Mattea steps up to host the show this Sunday in Charleston, WV. Mattea will welcome performances from Seamus Egan Project, Cheryl Wheeler, Sam Baker, The Mulligan Brothers and Kenny White.

Mountain Stage with Larry Groce will celebrate its 34th Anniversary this Sunday, December 3 at the Culture Center Theater on the grounds of the State Capitol. Doors open at 6:30p.m. and the show starts at 7p.m., but you should make plans to arrive early because we have a couple of special surprises for our ticket holders, so keep reading.

In 2007, Canadian artist Rose Cousins was chosen as one of five co-winners in the Mountain Stage NewSong Contest for performing songwriters. A decade (and a couple Mountain Stage performances) later, the Juno award-winning singer-songwriter returned to NPR's Mountain Stage with songs from her new record Natural Conclusion.

Sunday's SOLD OUT show at Charleston's Culture Center Theater marks Mountain Stage's 870th episode and features performances by California troubadour Brett Dennen, Colorado indie folkers Elephant Revival, alternative rock band Cracker, Portland soul singer Liz Vice and New York City folk brothers The Lords of Liechtenstein. 

This Friday, March 4th at 12pm, former Mountain Stage guest Ray LaMontagne will perform his new album "Ouroboros," live at the studios of WXPN in Philadelphia.
