Mountain Stage broadcast its first regularly scheduled episode on Dec. 11, 1983. Host Larry Groce and  West Virginia Public Broadcasting will celebrate the program's 35 years on public radio with episode #935 on Sunday, December 2 at the Culture Center Theater in Charleston, W.Va.

As summer slowly winds down, Mountain Stage is making plans for the Fall with another new live show just announced for Sunday, October 21 in Charleston, W.Va.

Grammy winning performing artist and West Virginia native Kathy Mattea will release her new album "Pretty Bird" in September and will appear on Mountain Stage Saturday August 11, 2018 as part of the Augusta Heritage Festival on the campus of Davis & Elkins College in Elkins, W.Va. Tickets are available now.

This Sunday, July 15th, Mountain Stage welcomes Hiss Golden Messenger, Kris Delmhorst, Nicki Bluhm, Teddy Thompson, and The Parachute Brigade to the Culture Center Theater in Charleston, WV. Tickets are still available online, by phone at 877.987.6487 or locally at Taylor Books.

Mountain Stage with Larry Groce is pleased to welcome Americana group The Lone Bellow and their acoustic TRIIIO tour to Mountain Stage later this fall.

Mountain Stage with Larry Groce is about to get back into their schedule of live performances in Charleston, WV, starting this Sunday May 13 at the Culture Center Theater.

Mountain Stage is busy planning our Summer schedule. We've already announced two August road shows- On Saturday, August 11 we return to the Augusta Heritage Festival in Elkins, and Sunday, August 19 we’ll be at the Peoples Bank Theatre in Marietta, OH.
