West Virginia Public Broadcasting is looking for a host with strong interviewing skills for The Legislature Today, its nightly half-hour television news program originating from the state Capitol building and focusing on the 2019 legislative session. 

The Folklife Reporter will help tell Appalachia’s story by collecting stories of Appalachian people. The Folklife Reporter will produce human interest features focused on the traditions, habits, passions, and cultures of everyday Appalachians. This reporter will help with trainings and provide guidance to a group of aspiring digital Appalachian reporters. Tasks may include but are not limited to collecting audio and video, giving presentations, writing, producing, and reporting.
