The public is invited to a West Virginia Public Broadcasting Meet and Greet on Thursday, July 7, from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. at Welton Park Shelter #1, Petersburg. Children will get to meet Clifford the Big Red Dog, and adults may chat with NPR newsman, and West Virginia native, Giles Snyder along with other WVPB staff and board members.
Light refreshments will be served.
Clifford the Big Red Dog is the star of a beloved PBS children's program, based on a series of books by Norman Bridwell. Clifford will appear at the Meet and Greet in the form of a large character costume, and will be happy to pose with children for photographs.
